Translation is a function that moves every point of the PartBody in the same direction and distance.
The translation tool is normally used when the user wants to change the location of the datum of a Body or to move power copies in the part file.

Direction, Distance

In this mode, users move the part by selecting a direction and distance.

Point, Point

In this mode, the user moves the Body by clicking on 2 points. The Start point will be the reference point on the body that will be translated to the endpoint, and thereafter every other point of the Body follows.


In this mode, the body will translate using vector coordinates from the selected axis system
